Three different players were on target as FA champions Sidey’s FC climbed to the top of the  Tobago Football Association Premier Division with a 3-1 victory over Golden Lane in a top-of-the-table clash on Wednesday.

Daylon Gray handed Sidey’s FC a 1-0 lead at the half with his 17th minute item but Golden Lane which started the day in second spot with 25 points, one behind Youth Stars drew level in the 68th via Antonio Balfour.

However, with ten minutes left Pavel Warrick got Sidey’s back in front and two minutes from full-time Kester Kent seal the three points with his team’s third item.

The win lifted Sidey’s to 28 points from 15 matches and one left to play, while Youths Stars (26 its) has twom matches left, the same as Golden Lane (25 its).

Youth Stars missed a chance to keep hold of top spot after a shock 2-1 loss to Earlbrokes which got an early double from Curtly Ferguson in the 11th and 23rd while Black Rock and Bethel United drew 2-2 in the other match played.

The match between Roxborough Lakers and Goal City did not take placed due to an unfit field.
