Former champions, Sidey’s FC stayed in the hunt for the 2017 Tobago Football Association Premier Division title with a 4-0 blowout of Roxborough Lakers earlier this week.
The quartet of Brandon Benjamin, Rekiel Stewart, Weah Adams and Reaneil Stewart were all on target for Sidey’s FC in the one-sided contest to up their points total to 32 from 14 matches, four behind leaders Stokely Vale who have a match in hand on the ten-team table and five to complete its campaign.
In the Second Division, Goodwood FC continued to lead from Moriah Youths on goal-difference after two lopsided wins.
First, Goodwood hammered Mason Hall 8-4 led by braces from Kelby Beckles, Mark Agard and Christien Yorke and then followed up by Northside FC 6-0 with Yorke, scoring another double to move to 41 points from 18 matches and a goal-difference of plus-36.
Moriah Youths on the otherhand, dropped two crucials points in a 1-1 draw with Mt Grace and have also played a match more, with a goal-difference of plus-27.
