Joe Public, St. Ann’s Rangers and W Connection were all victories in Sunday’s Round One Match Day Nine matches of the 2011 Oasis Youth Pro League.

Connection maintained its position at the top of the U13 and U15 standings with an 8-0 dumping of T&TEC in the U13s thanks to Isaiah Hudson getting a first half double (28th and 35th minutes) and Jarod Gordon (5th minute), Terrell Williams (7th minute), Judah St. Louis (24th minute), Brandon Lee Foon (50th minute), Daquon Celestine (61st minute) and Kareem Riley (70th minute) all notching an item.

And in the U15s Jabari Mitchell netted a double (7th and 66th minutes) while Nicholas Dillon (14th minute) and leading scorer Yafeu Rougier (80th minute) earning the other items in the 4-0 win.

Connection’s visit to the Trinity College East ground was capped off with a 2-1 win over T&TEC ending a three match losing streak in the U17s thanks to strikes by Jaffett Williams and Rondell Phillip.

Connection jumped two spots up the U17 standings into fourth with 15 points, one point behind third positioned Adam’s Construction San Juan Jabloteh and second positioned Rangers but a massive nine points away from leaders Joe Public(24 points).

Joe Public playing at the Marvin Lee Stadium defeated North East Stars 4-2 in their U17 clash with Shaquille Bertrand (19th minute), Dwight Quintero (40th minute), Marcus Gomez (49th minute) and Leon Gill (65th minute) the scorers after Stars’ Akail Noel opened the scoring in the 6th minute. Jesus Perez got the second Stars’ item in the 51st minute.

In the U13s Joe Public defeated the Stars 5-1 with Ronaldo Francois, Preston Perrotie, Jesse Joseph, Kyron Fortune and Niam Lewis getting on the scoresheet for the team seated second on the standings with 18 points, seven points shy of leaders Connection(25 points) and tied with third positioned Rangers.

Joe Public, very shaky in the U-15s came from a goal down to defeat the Stars 2-1 thanks to a double by Elijah Parsons (17th and 47th minutes) after Andell Jones’ 16th minute item for the visitors.

Rangers joined in with all wins on Sunday beginning with a hard fought 4-3 win over Defence Force in the U13s at the Mucurapo Secondary ground followed by a 7-0 U15 win.

Jamal Philbert got the only item in the first period netting in the 39th minute. And in the second period double goalscorer Marquise Hoyte (56th and 77th minutes), Jameal Antoine (58th minute), Malique Quow (70th minute), Sean Bonval (74th minute) and Shivaughn Murphy (79th minute) got on the scoresheet for the more than comfortable victory.

But in the U17 clash, Dylon King stole the show netting all three items in the 3-0 Rangers victory. King opened the scoring in the 10th minute and made it 2-0 by the 36th minute before wrapping up his hattrick in the 71st minute.
