T&T senior women’s defender Lauryn Hutchinson was over the top last week upon receiving the news that her goal against Costa Rica in last year’s CONCACAF Women’s World Cup qualifier had been voted the top female international goal of the year.

Former Trinidad and Tobago National Women’s Senior Team head coach Randy Waldrum, who took the “Women Soca Warriors” to within one goal of a FIFA 2015 Women’s World Cup place, allegedly found out about his rejection for the post through the media.

Former national goalkeeper Ross Russell has been appointed coach of the Women’s Soca Warriors for the upcoming Pan American Games in Canada in July as well as the Caribbean Football Union Olympic qualifying tournament.

Two-time Pro League champion coach Ross Russell and reigning WOLF (Women’s League Football) title holder Jason Spence have been identified by the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) as possible replacements for “Women Soca Warriors” head coach Randy Waldrum.

RANDY WALDRUM will remain with the Houston Dash, his American women’s professional team, and will not be in charge of Trinidad and Tobago’s senior national women football team for the upcoming Pan Am Games competition to be held next month in Canada. The T&T women will face Colombia, Brazil and Ecuador in the group phase.

Professional female footballer, Ahkeela Mollon, is expected to join Grenada in their celebration of Women’s Football Day on 23rd May.
