The “Women Warriors” will open their final round of the CONCACAF Oympic Qualification against Guatemala on February 11, 2016, after they were drawn with the Central Americans, Guyana and Canada in Group B of the eight-team competition.
The “Women Warriors” will have their work cut out for them as they will have to win their group in order to qualify.
The two finalists of the tournament will automatically qualify for the Women's Olympic Football competition which will be staged at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This means that Canada will most likely be the team to stand between them and a ticket to Rio next year.
In the run up to the final round, T&T have two high-profile friendlies against the US next month and have just recently won the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) final, when they beat Puerto Rico 1-0 at the Ato Boldon Stadium last Friday.
