It would be a bit of an upset should Trinidad and Tobago not be able to see off Bahamas this evening to claim a spot in the semi-finals of the 2014 CONCACAF Girls’ Under-15 Championship.

Trinidad and Tobago reached the quarter-finals by topping Group A after drawing with Bermuda (1-1) and scoring victories over Barbados (3-0) and Honduras(2-0). Germany-based player Amaya Ellis and Canada-born Alexis Fortune scored for T&T against Honduras.

Trinidad and Tobago now take on Bahamas, the runners-up from what looks a weak Group B from 5.30 (p.m.) this evening in the first quarter-final at Truman Bodden Sports Complex. The second match of the double-header sees Group B winners Cayman Islands taking on Group B runners-up Honduras. Other quater-final matches at T.E. McField Sports Centre, see Canada meeting Costa Rica, while Jamaica take on Haiti.
