Kefim Blackford scored with virtually the last kick of the match as defending champions Enterprise Youths came from behind to snatch a dramatic 3-2 win over Perseverance Ball Runners in the Central Football Association Premier Division ‘Big Six’ at the Hugo Francis Recreation Ground, Woodford Lodge, Chaguanas on Tuesday night.

Keron Clarke opened the scoring for Ball Runners in the 18th minute, but within four minutes Denzil David got Enterprise level, only for Ball Runners to regain the lead via Akeem Wellington on the stroke of half-time.

Blackford then came to his team’s rescue, first when he netted the equaliser in the 71st minute followed by the winner in the 90th to share top spot with Las Lomas.

On Monday at the same venue, Coosals Las Lomas got an 18th minute item from Ray Collymore to slip past Cunupia FC, 1-0 while on Eagles FC used goals from Ken Chaplan (19th), Mekel James (30th) and Jonathan Marcelle (48th) to hold off Edinburgh 500, 3-2. For Edinburgh Emelias James (32nd) and Kevon Wilson (42nd) were on target to tie the score at 2-2 at the half, before Marcelle netted the winner for their opponents.
