FIRE SERVICE FC thrashed Carapichaima Playmakers 6-0 as the Central Football Association (CFA) Premier League continued.

At the Mulchan Seuchan Recreation Ground in Chaguanas, on October 15, Fire got two goals apiece from Kevon Cornwall (21st and 51st minutes), Trevon McIntosh (43rd and 78th) and Michael Hospedales (56th and 81st) in the one-sided contest.

Leeds FC moved up to second place on the standings after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Inter- National Connection on October 16 at the New Settlement Recreation Ground.

Christopher Samlal put Leeds FC in front after 21 minutes before Keron Jerome equalised in the 65th.

However, Jester Hackett snatched the winner for Leeds, in the 80th.

A day later, in a high-scoring affair, Harlem Strikers got the better of Perseverance United 5-2, at the Frederick Settlement Recreation Ground.

Robbie Sookhi scored twice for Harlem, in the 78th and 82nd minutes, after earlier items from Victor De Silva (sixth), Dwayne Wills (27th) and Ronnie Jeffrey (70th).

Aaron Chunai (30th) and Riva Ramlagan (41st) got their names on the scoresheet for Perseverance United.
