PERSEVERANCE BALLRUNNERS, the new Central Football Association League champions, begin the Hugo Francis Super Knock Out Central competition on Saturday at the quarter-final stage.

However, the competition kicks off tomorrow with four preliminary round matches. Ballrunners go into action on Saturday against the winners of today’s tomorrow’s preliminary round match up between Marchin United FC and MIC Tigers FC.

Ballrunners were runner away winners of the CFA League competition, winning 19 of 24 matches played. The battle was for second spot, with Harlem Strikers completing their schedule on Monday against second-from-bottom Marchin FC and current third-placed team Eagles United having two outstanding matches, one on Sunday against Orange Field SC Firehouse and one last night against mid-table Perseverance United.
