Junior newcomer Joel Cowan (Mt. Grace, Trinidad and Tobago)  was named AAC Offensive Player of the Week for men's soccer last week.

Cowan booted in both the Buffs' goals against Union College on Sept. 27, bringing an end to the intense overtime match. More recently, Cowan tallied three of Milligan's five shots-on-goal versus King College on Oct. 1 and also scored the first of the Buffs' three goals against Lambuth University on Oct. 4.

Cowan transferred to Milligan this year from Appalachian State University.
