IT was over almost a fast as it began.

After just three minutes, Joe Public were leading WASA Clean & White 1-0 through young Brazilian Leandro Moncoa, and led Friday night's Sportworld National Super League knockout final 2-0 at the halfway stage after getting a second goal through Jamaica forward Roen Nelson, last year's top scorer in the league.

Joe Public finally sewed up the final at 3-0 when Wolrey Wolfe got a third goal for the Eastern Lions in the 88th minute of the match. In 2004, Joe Public won both the Super League league and knockout titles.

Both finalists, Joe Public and WASA Clean & White, have now qualified for the 2005 National FA Trophy competition, along with beaten finalists Stokely Vale and Couva Players United. A fifth qualifier will be decided tomorrow at Trinity College Grounds, Moka, when Maraval Youth Academy take on Angostura 1976 Phoenix.
