Jack knocks minister's request for tickets
A disappointed Chaguanas West MP Jack Warner yesterday chastised Sports Minister Gary Hunt, whom he said requested 172 tickets "for parliamentarians" for last night's football match, but did not include in this list a single Opposition MP (Opposition Leader Basdeo Panday included).
Warner threatens to quit all posts
Jack Warner is so confident that Sports Minister Gary Hunt cannot show proof of paying the salaries of the national team's technical staff for the last year that the Chaguanas West Member of Parliament has threatened to quit all his major posts.
Phillips continues TTFF courses
The T&T Football Federation’s D License course will enter its final phase at the Laventille Sports Complex tomorrow. The three-day event started yesterday and is sponsored by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs in conjunction with the Federation.

T&T Football Federation (TTFF) celebrated 100 years at the Joao Havelange Centre of Excellence, Macoya, Tunapuna, on September 5. It was a gala night — spanning 1904-2008 — to celebrate greats including footballers, journalists, heads of leagues and referees. Among the football hierarcy present was visiting Fifa president Sepp Blatter, vice president Austin Jack Warner, Uefa president Michel Platini, TTFF president Oliver Camps and chairman of the English Football Association Lord David Triesman.
