THE San Fernando Sports Academy will be hosting its annual Future Football Stars Tournament on November 9 at Skinner Park, San Fernando, from 9am – 3pm.
Contesting teams must be comprised of both males and females. The required age groups are Boys 5 & Under with Girls 6 & Under; Boys 7 & Under with Girls 8 & Under; Boys 9 & Under with Girls 10 & Under; Boys 11 & Under with Girls 13 & Under; Boys 13 & Under with Girls 15 & Under; and Boys 15 and Under.
This is a seven-a-side tournament and teams can register up to 12 players each. However, if teams wish to add more players, they must pay $10 per additional player. Games are 20 minutes each, entail unlimited flying substitutes and will be played with size four balls. Players must be within the age group by December 31 2013.
Registration is $150 per team. Matches will be overseen by professional Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation certified referees. Interested participants are advised of limited space. The deadline for registration is November 7 as there will be no registration on the day.
Teams will also be presented with medals, participation certificates, trophies or footballs for MVP in each team and football wrist bans for all players.
