THE TTFA (TT) Football Association will stage its next C License Course from June 10-14 at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva. Sessions will run daily from 1-5 pm.
The course will cost $1,200 and all interested persons can register by contacting the TTFA office in Couva at 235-5057.
Refresher courses for all C License coaches, who completed the C License on or before 2016, will take place on June 16 (9 am-1 pm) and June 17 (2-5 pm) at the Ato Boldon Stadium.
This course focuses on, among other topics, the principles of coaching; the role of the coach; the teaching-learning process; communication; ethics; coaches being able to assess their players’ developmental; coaches being able to plan and implement an effective training session with specific objectives; and to develop a progressive programme of appropriate duration.
Other areas of focus will be – coaches being able to understand the main moments of football and relate it to team task and function; coaches being able to identify and develop personal and professional behaviours in themselves and players and coaches being able to identify the basic elements that make up football among other areas.
