Ryan Bachoo joined the Unspun Investigative team to lead a special report into how stadia across Trinidad and Tobago became a political playground.

A research paper done a few years ago showed that Trinidad and Tobago is among countries with the highest number of stadia per capita. However, while the nation of 1.4 million people is good at building, it has a dismal track record of maintaining. The result has been relatively new stadia in different corners of the country left to become structurally deficient. But more than that, as the economy fluctuates, these stadia become less and less of a priority for governments.
