DUNDEE UNITED last night vowed to fight the decision that has robbed Jason Scotland of his SPL livelihood. The Tannadice club launched a blistering verbal attack on the six-man panel who ruled that Scotland did not measure up to the criteria necessary to secure a Home Office work permit.

Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper Clayton Ince is back in training at Reaseheath and will give Dario Gradi a decision on his future before Thursday's contract deadline. Ince was left out of the Gold Cup squad following a reported bust-up with Trinidad and Tobago coach Leo Beenhakker and although Ince has not retired from International duty, he was left out for the squad of 23 with the unattached Shaka Hislop recalled to the squad instead.
