Midfielder Andre Boucaud is still heavily backed by manager Gary Mills despite recently losing his starting place in the side.

The Trinidad & Tobago international's form has rather slipped over the past few weeks after returning impressively from the summer break following his arrival from Kettering Town thirteen months ago.

And that found him being left out of the side as Mills decided on breaking up his previously very successful middle of the pitch partnership with Scott Kerr and Patrick McLaughlin, although he clearly expects the 27-year-old to return to the fold sooner rather than later.

"Andre has played a big part in our season but has fallen off a little bit," Mills told The Press. "He's an excellent player - there's no two ways about that. I know what I want from him - he has set unbelievable standards for himself this season and we know he can run the show at his best.

There's nobody better but, for Andre to be beneficial to our team, he's got to perform every game as ruthless as that may sound."
