MARVIN ANDREWS today warned his Ibrox mates they can't afford to suffer any Euro hangover from their disappointing 0-0 draw with Artmedia Bratislava.

The powerhouse stopper knows that Motherwell will look to sneak a win over the Gers tomorrow to draw level with the SPL champions on 17 points.

And big Marv is determined that Terry Butcher's men will not be underestimated, saying: "We can't afford to go flat after the Artmedia game.

"We've nine points to make up on Hearts and we are six behind Celtic and all our focus must be on beating Motherwell, then getting some momentum behind us.

"But Motherwell are only three points behind us and will see this as a chance to close the gap and maybe take advantage of any European hangover. We just can't afford that."

Andrews looks a cert to start due to the suspension of Greek central defensive colossus Sotirios Kyrgiakos.

But the Trinidad and Tobago international was taking nothing for granted ahead of tomorrow's Ibrox clash with the Fir Parkers.

The 29-year-old said: "When I get the opportunity to play, I will take it. The manager knows the minute he gives me the chance I will be there for him. Hopefully I will get another opportunity against Motherwell.

"I felt I did okay when I came on to replace Sotirios on Wednesday and it would be good to get a run of games."

Meanwhile, Marv has pleaded with the Light Blues legions to keep their faith in the Gers' Euro dream.

Andrews, it is clear, believes that Rangers have every chance of coming out on top in Bratislava on November 1, saying: "The most important thing is that we picked up a point. We didn't lose the game and we played well over the course and created several chances. Unfortunately, we could not put the ball in the net.

"The belief that we can qualify from Group H will not go until the last whistle of the last match.

"We are still very much alive in the Champions League, with a massive game in Bratislava in 11 days, and with everything to play for."
