Defender Justin Hoyte has been a regular for FC Cincinnati and was a starting member in their recent 2-2 draw with Saint Louis FC as Danni König calmly buried a penalty kick in the final minute of stoppage time to help the club to a five-game unbeaten streak and a sixth place position in the United Soccer League in the United States with a 10-9-10 (40 pts.) record.
Hoyte, a former Arsenal player, signed for Cincinnati in March following a lengthly lay off from first team football. ”To add a player that has Premier League experience is a major addition to our squad,” commented Head Coach Alan Koch. “Justin’s personality and humbleness for someone who has already achieved a significant amount in the game is enriching for our group.”
