Skysports.com understands Cheltenham are set to sign Exeter winger Jake Thomson on loan.
Cheltenham boss Mark Yates revealed he was close to bringing in a loan signing on Thursday and it is understood Thomson is the mystery target.
The 21-year-old, who joined Exeter last summer after being released by Southampton, has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Grecians (Exter City) side this season.
The Trinidad & Tobago international has made 13 appearances this term and he is happy to go out on loan in a bid for regular first-team action.
Thomson is expected to go straight into the Cheltenham side for Saturday's trip to Stevenage as they look to keep their promotion bid on track.
