Real Monarchs SLC 21-year-old fullback from Trinidad & Tobago, Noah Powder claimed his second title in the Championship last season, helping the Monarchs top Louisville City for the league’s crown. Powder played a pivotal role in his team's accomplishment.

The former Orange County SC defender, also scored in the final for his third goal of the season. Powder came up in the New York Red Bulls academy, but seemed to really have a breakout season last year, notching career-highs in minutes and matches played. Powder was integral to the Monarchs’ success last year and should be again this year too.

Mitchell Northam of "prosoccerusa" named Powder as one of the 14 players you need to watch in the 2020 USL Championship season. He mentioned, "If Powder continues to play at a high level, his senior national team debut could come sooner rather than later."

On September 7, 2016, before his Monarchs career began, Powder played for the New York Red Bulls II team and scored his first two goals as a professional in a 4-1 victory over the Harrisburg City Islanders, helping them to clinch the 2016 USL Regular Season Championship.

In 2017, Powder joined Real Monarchs and helped them win the USL Regular Season Championship, the equivalent in the second division of the Supporters Shield.

In 2019, Real Monarchs won their first outright USL Championship, defeating two-time champions Louisville City FC 3-1 at Louisville Slugger Field, Louisville, Kentucky. The Monarchs are the second MLS reserve team, after New York Red Bulls II to win the second division title, and the first to do so as USL Championship Western Conference champion.

Powder, a regular standout for T&T U17 and U20 youth teams is yet to make a T&T senior team appearance but seem close to doing so. The former T&T youth captain rejected an approach in 2015 from the US expressing a preference for remaining part of the T&T international set up, probably the first T&T player to ever do so.

The New Jersey-born native and 2019 October USL Championship Team of the Week-30 player has two brothers in Samory and Seth, both look sure to follow their brother's footsteps, Samory is already a member of the current T&T U20 team.
