Port Vale winger Chris Birchall could swap World Cup action in front of 46,000 for Tiverton Town and a few hundred fans tomorrow. The 22-year-old has been passed fit for Vale's pre-season tour to Devon following an operation on his fractured hand. Manager Martin Foyle will make a late decision on whether to include Birchall in tomorrow's friendly at Southern Premier League outfit Tiverton or save him for Saturday's game at League Two outfit Torquay. Birchall's last game was in Germany four weeks ago when he played for Trinidad and Tobago against Paraguay in Kaiserslautern.
