CLINT Marcelle has been released by the Mariners after failing to break into the first team since the start of the season.
The Trinidad & Tobago striker made only five appearances for Grimsby, four of them as sub. His only start came in the LDV Trophy against Carlisle, and Marcelle never scored a goal for Town, nor particularly looked like doing so in the few chances he got.
