JASON Norville's goal five minutes after Spurs opener ensured that the Hornets came away from Stevenage Borough's Broadhall Way ground with a point in the Barclays Premiership Reserve League (South).

Omari Coleman thought he had given the Hornets a dream start on 15 minutes when scoring from close range, but an offside flag ruled out the effort.

Alec Chamberlain had to be on his game on 34 minutes when Spase Dilevski fed Mark Yeates in the inside right channel of the area - Yeates drove low towards the far post but the keeper got down well low to his right to palm the ball away.

Tottenham took the lead on the 40th minute when Dean Marney's corner was headed in at the back post by Paul O'Donoghue, unmarked at the back post.

Watford struck back in style just before the break when Young played a lovely give and go with Coleman, flicking the ball around the corner and taking the return pass. He made it to the byline and crossed low for Norville to side-foot home at the near post.

The second half was largely devoid of goalmouth action, save for Goran Bunjevcevic's timely interception to prevent a chance for Norville to double his tally early on.
