results wise yes, (not by anymeans belittleing the man skills)
but ronaldo thierry bergkamp would make my world eleven anytime of players from the 90's to present

dont even make sense arguing your position cause u talking with a very obvious bias towards arsenal..

You're comparing ronaldo, one of the best talents brazil has ever produced, with bergkamp who whilst being a very good player who had an excellent career, does not even fall into the echelon of greats that Ronaldo belongs to..

Is up to you to keep that red and white wool over yuh eyes, but it ent have no place in an objective discussion..

bear with me, not every great player is a prolific goal scorer, pele scored more than maradonna does that reduce maradonnas tallents? maldini fantastic player few goals does that reduce his tallent, seriously look at the whoel picture not goals and medals, because it takes w whoel damn team, brazil had to be strong everywhere else to give ronaldo the space time plays to get the goals, put ronaldo in a local side sure he will score but the side will stil collect a hat full in return.

all the great players as on the same level field not on some individual ranking, head to head mateirial and tangible results n prizes migth be used to quantify and qualify who gets the nod ahead, but greatness is greatness

you will tell me george best isn't great cus he have no world cup medals? or top scorer?

Well let me tell you something...I think it harder to shine in a team of stars and Ronaldo do that...Look even Capello say Ronaldo is the best he ever coached...Zidane say he is the best he played with...gunnerstunner...who are you to say Ronaldo is not a great? ...If someone put Ronaldo, Pele and Maradona in the same sentence you can't even fault them...The Greatest Forward the world has seen and you comparing him to Henry ....Henry!!!??? ... When Ronaldo playin for Milan you does witness a certain inspiration on the entire team and he there for a 1 year....Henry gone Barca and doh even have that effect...He is a mouse there where he doh have little boys behind him....not taking anything away from Henry but he is not on the same level...in fact Henry is taking credibility from the BPL because he was one of the best in that league and he come to La Liga(which Ronaldo effortlessly dominated) and cyah make a note....The thing about Ronaldo is that it is so natural and instinctive....GunnerStunner I hope you are not Trini nah because you making me rel shame with that shit yuh talking...Filho I believe spideybuff was trying to show that those guys although being good players doh really have no setta medals to set them apart...to my knowledge Bergkamp did win UEFA with Ajax....not sure.....gunnerstunner...look at it this way....when Ronaldo was playing these fellas had nothing to win and they were good players...but Ronaldo take all the personal accolades...up to now Henry int  get a Euro player of the Year or World player of the year.... Ronaldo will always be the best for me....Just imagine men like Pato and Benzema idolize and study Ronaldo...Benzema actually confess to studying the man DVD's...who was Henry understudy again? Theo Walcott :rotfl:

Listen...so far so good...since the Germany time I always maintained the stance of it being better to lose with young players than to win with 'old' players...If he can get wins out of them I think it will be good for both our current football and future...Maturana is from South America so I figure the brand of football he will be enforcing will be more adaptable to play for our players...So far he have my backing ...I hope turn out bad but so far so good...Go T&T!!

This is what I talking about...This man seem to be the real deal...From that move where he meeting with the clubs to instruct them....Why they could have gotten him sooner...I don't want to oversupport to quick but that move have me on the bandwagon...Wim's plan didn't actually get off the ground and at that point he was an asshole yet...but lets hope this guy can do it...It look like this is the first thing he looking to do so it seems he is in the right direction ...SA 2010 ...We comin.... :beermug:....Go T&T!!!

Gunner Stunner is a rel jackass I must say...Ronaldo is greater than any player that ever play for Arsenal I could tell you that...His weight gain was down to the fact that he had a tryroid problem because he was still bustin the net and faster than plenty players ...which they treat now....And the thing is two of the great players name you call...Why allyuh jumbie doesn't stay in allyuh hole boy? steups...There always have to be some asshole eh ...Good thing I not seein you in real because I mighta hit yuh for being so stupid...

Well kicker...what you go say about Messi? Messi is a man does show up against big teams...He doh have the "Ronaldinho" effect just yet on Barca but he does always play well against good teams...Cristiano influence on Man U and his country is not as the best player...He can't put a team on his back with moments of magic against good teams...Messi seem to be developing that...Messi is a big big player....Kaka is a big big player...Cristiano is a good player but not near those two in terms of influence

Football / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo is overrated dog mess

The man overrrated ..He cannot beat on a consistent basis against good opposition...To prove he is the best he have to do well against the best...How many goals he have against top of the league opposition...???  or assists even...The man scoring against Derby and other shitty clubs not to mention dubious penalties...He is good but not the best...stop calling him the best man U ppl...Messi better than him...Kaka better and in my opinion Pirlo better...plus Rooney does make manU man U

Football / Cristiano Ronaldo is overrated dog mess

I look at this man for the Italy game...The man is not even close to the best...Pirlo better than that at the moment...He could never be the best...Because he score some goals in England , most of which is a direct result of Rooney and Tevez hard work....people rate him...The man good but he is not even the best on the Portuguese side

Marvin Phillip is no joke...I not just talking that but his technique is quite good from way back...Attitude is minor things(the ref had it coming ;D) because anybody who ever train with the guy will tell you his work ethnic cannot be question...This man does be working hard all the time...The kinda save I see Marvin Phillip put down already...Geez human wall when he on his game...I really wish him the best

Why are we even surprised? We had the oldest team in the last World Cup so what the hell did you expect...Surely people don't expect Yorke and Latapy and company to be making Transatlantic trips at ages 30 and up...We were destined for this predicament...However, I think we need a good coach that could get the best out of the locals...Wim critisizes too much even though he know the situation instead of tryin a ting...And is the same thing I saying all the time...The state of our football is because we have NO good local coaches with any type of good accreditation...from youth come straight up is slackness...No coach not in Europe working to get badges and see how other teams doing it...Nobody building a philosopy to coach by...Some people may say we have many coaches in the US but I don't think the USA could train our coaches to play the type of football we should be playing...What could be learned from them is the emphasis on technique and fitness which is essential...however it may take methods from Brazil or Holland or England or Spain to really nuture the creative talent we possess.....I will always back T&T 110% even though the players are not the best...Some people say JAck Warner mess it up but we have no real or serious structure and emphasis on excellent work ethic....Just look at the  stats ...each time we spend any type of time or effort in youth programs we does reap some reward...Under 17 last year although a bad tournament....emerge from the under 15 and under 13 few years back with the mini tournament in T&T....Germany Adventure contained arguably the best Midfielder out of CONCACAF ...Russel Latapy who is a product from U10 national football(at a time when footballers had nothing to aspire to in the game)....Dwight Yorke(youth product)........People acting surprised but this was coming....If you fail to prepare prepare to fail....I will say that until my face get blue yes....Coaches get yuh papers and come home and push our players to the fullest ......The TTFF could have gotten a team of coaches to evaluate all teams in the PFL and each one of them a fittness programs and technical programs to work with which would improve the general standard of play...Recruit Young ambitious coaches from a particular powerhouse footballing nation and plus send some locals to other countries to learn coaching...make them sign something saying they have to give service to our nation for payment ...Just a thought but I believe that there is so much that could have been done....TTFF staff does just sit around whole day...I would really like to know what they does be doing when the day come.........Go T&T!!!

is robinho the best player on his team?? ummm... maybe, maybe not.. ruud, sneijder, guti are all having impressive seasons..

has robinho given me any memorable big game performances... ummm no, not really...

is robinho more indispensable than a Kaka, Messi, Cristiano, Drogba (why is his name not in this poll) or Zlatan??  NO, NO, NO!!

anyway like i said.. the best time for this discussion is at the critical phase of the season.. not now when certain men hogging de glory by constantly boring dem shitty EPL sides..

lets wait for the latter stages of the champions league
and see who steps up like Kaka did last year..

I hear dat. Men watching C. Ronaldo scoring against these same weak EPL defenses who backing-back from the ball, get excited because he score two against mighty Portsmouth's Calamity James and ready to proclaim him the best in the world. Look de poster child for fellatio so sure about it dat he recommending his lifestyle choice to me.

I was never a fan of C. Ronaldo but I also never denied his potential. The free-kick today was real nice. He is significantly better and smarter than past seasons - but what has he proven against the great club teams of the world? Call him the 'greatest' in the WORLD ... has he outwitted and outshone the greatest on said planet? The hype dat characterizes the EPL and our exposure to FSC, BBC and Skysports making ppl believe C. Ronaldo is the best, as he scores against Reading, Birmingham, Spurs and Portsmouth. Meanwhile someone like Clarence Seedorf or Xavi doing it on every stage but we doh hear half as much

Grande ...Thank You...Finally a man with some sense...Cristiano never prove himself against big opposition or had that magical moment when Man U needed him to step it up and bring everybody behind him....Kaka ...well Kaka master do this when Milan need him....Kaka is like a superhero..in fact he is the superhero of Milan....Ronaldinho do it for the past three seasons for Barca...Robinho doing it for Real now although others playing well...Cristiano never had that...Rooney is actually more of a clutch player than him....Cristiano, although a great player is not the best because he cannot decide a game when faced with true top class opposition and the odds against his team....All he doing is scoring goals more often...his free kick was though...And you know what will fret me ...he will have one good game against a top team and the Man U bottom lickers will say he is the best...One swallow doh make a summer....Kaka do it over and over again

Football / Re: Who's the best????

...to say Robinho is the best player in the world, is shit talk,u obvioulsy dont know football.

I said in my opinion...prick!.....Anyhow Cristiano has never proved himself against top opposition..He cannot raise the level of his team on his own...Rooney does this for Manchester...It is true he is playing exceptionally well but against Wigan and Derby and bottom scrapers...what about Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal?...where was Cristiano against these teams...When they play AC Milan last year where was he?  I mean he playing at a great level but I can't say he is the best when Man U didn't face adversity and Cristiano step and say give me the ball let me decide this game as say Kaka does for Milan....I also said currently...Kaka still doing his thing but not like Robinho doing it also and keeping his team at the top level...Messi is also not a player in my opinion that could say let me decide this when Barcelona not doing well...This is why I cannot say those guys are the best...As for Zlatan...He is playing great and has been for a while....Cristiano is an excellent player but not a clutch individual like say Ronaldo 99 for Brazil, Inter, Barca and Real(against Turkey in the World Cup when Brazil couldn't find a goal), Zidane for Real and France(UEFA final volley), Ronaldinho(against Milan champions league) for Barca and Brazil, Kaka for Milan(against Boca ) and Brazil, Rivaldo, Figo for Real.......Players that will say give me the ball and I will decide this ...All these players have had there moments...Where was Cristiano's? where was Messi 's this season?....This is just my opinion and all I ask was men opinion this asshole have to come and say i doh know about football...steups....pornsite shut down o what? alllyuh little asshole find something to do nah boy and leave a big man...steups

Coaching int that easy but it seems Dwight have a knack for uniting dressing rooms....You know I don't think he was on the list for 125 best living players which was bullshit in my opinion...to leave out him and Latapy ....He in the top ten scoring in EPL and Latapy rip up Scotland for years now
