Real Madrid Duo Ruud van Nistelrooy And Guti Linked With Vietnam Move
Could the veterans make a shock move to South-East Asia?

Reports in AS this morning suggest that Real Madrid's Ruud van Nistelrooy and Guti are targets for T&T Hanoi.

The Vietnamese championship is said to be undergoing a revamp, and the signing of two high-profile names like Van Nistelrooy and Guti is a major part of the project.

They would not be the first big-name players to venture into Vietnamese football. Former Real Betis and Brazil winger Denilson played for Xi Man Hai Phong for one game in June of this year, scoring on his debut before leaving after just three weeks.

The president of T&T Hanoi, Do Quang Hien, is said to be keen to bring the Blancos pair to Vietnam. Spaniard Guti, 32, and Dutch international Van Nistelrooy, 33, have been linked with moves away from the Bernabeu since the arrival of Karim Benzema, Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Do Quang Hien is also reportedly interested in Chelsea's Portuguese midfielder, Deco.

Deco will quit Chelsea for Vietnam after next summer's World Cup, according to the president of V-League 'giants' TT Ha Noi.
Do Quang Hien says he has already spoken to Chelsea and expects the transfer to be the start of a relationship between the two clubs.
Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho wanted to sign the 31-year-old this summer but failed to agree a fee.

TT Ha Noi have also been linked with moves for former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy and Spain midfielder Guti - both of Real Madrid.
But some Asian commentators have dismissed the transfer pursuits as a publicity stunt.
Brazilian veteran Denilson, one the most expensive player in the world, joined Hai Phong Cement in June, but played just once before returning home injured, £15,000 better off.
