Johnson celebrates his Trinidad call-up
Western Mail

Rhyl 3-1 Caersws

IT has been a memorable period in the life of Rhyl striker Josh Johnson who has been called up for the Trinidad and Tobago squad.

And he celebrated in style with a superb 78th minute strike to put the Lilywhites out of sight against gallant Caersws.

With champions Llanelli stretching their lead at the top to five points on Friday night, Alan Bickerstaff’s side have again cut the deficit to two points.

“We need to concentrate on ourselves and picking up points. This was an important win but Caersws made it tough for us,” Bickerstaff said.

So tough that it was not until the 70th minute that Gareth Wilson made the breakthrough with a wonderful long range strike.

Rob Williams’ own goal and Johnson’s strike made it three goals in eight minutes but the Bluebirds had the late consolation of a Dave Hughes reply.
The Conquering Lion of Judah shall break every chain.

You do mean we have a bogus coach and the team was announced by the MEDIA Officer (sic) of the TTFF.
