« on: January 14, 2006, 11:57:58 AM »
He made his debut for bolton wanderers today he was sub in the 35th minute of the first half and during his time on the field he never touched the ball.Is this guy overated or it's to soon to say.I personally think he's not going anywhere in the premiership.

Nah, me eh feel he overrated. He score over 200 goals in de Mexican league, he is Mexico's top scorer in international games, he geh on bad in de Confederations Cup. Sometimes de club or league doh suit yuh style of play. Look how dem Brazilians does always fail in England. Diego Forlan look like de biggest shitsnake at ManU and den he went LaLiga and was only bussing net. Crespo was bussing at Chelsea, dey send him tuh AC Milan and was only goal he scoring. So it does go sometimes.

BTW, dis is not Borgetti's debut, it's jes his first start.

He get sub as a tactical move.  Nakata get 2 yellow cards and Allardyce take off Borghetti and bring on Campo as a result.

It wasn't his first game.....ah do believe he score already since playing for Bolton.

Borghetti not overrated...it is just the league. He pace of that league is breath taking (literally). When Ronaldhino wanted help deciding if to go EPF with ManU or Barca....Ronaldo told him that he would have far more success in Spain because of the way the game is played. Ah guess Forlan shoulda consult Ronaldo too :-\

yeah him getting subbed in the game was just bad luck.......with Nakata getting red-carded, Allardyce had to balance out the line-up and Borgetti was just the unfortunate pawn in the move......

I think Borgetti would do better in Spain...

I heard he's being linked to a move to Benfica in Portugal.

yeah today was his first EPL start but they only using the man in cup competitions and the man real scoring for them in cup competitions so the man isnt shit and he isnt overrated but maybe he would do better in spain like his countryman raphael marques.

diego forlan show some flashes of brilliance with man utd but not on a consistant basis but was the leading scorer in la liga in his first season so the EPL may not be for everybody.

And Mido is stll Roma property....he just on loan at spurs but he asking Roma to let him stay with spurs
