Based on the squads on paper...I will say 4 - 1 to Argentina  :beermug: ..But based on BooSA never give up attitude and most likely playing defensive..I will say 2 - 1 to Argentina  ;D

;D Good showing USA...better luck next time  :beermug:

USA simply outclassed in the 2nd half. Argentina had some deadly guns to go to in the 2nd half. The US...not so much. But just a s I thought..Argentina needed a 45 to find their legs as this is their first competitive game.

Not bad at all for such a young inexperienced US side. ALso, they might as well have been playing in Argentina.

Is funny how people does always say de U.S. so fit.  Dey eh lie.  But look how ball control, time of possession, and slick passing slow dem down.  Dem yankees look like dey was playing in quick sand.  Clueless and chasing ball all over de field for de most part.

Good game so far. This is a US B team. Argentina stcked.but this is their first game and you could see they have some kinks to iron out. Messi being marked ot the game.

If Eddie Johnson was not such a coward he would give the Srgentine defense a little more to think about. Three times he burst into space and instead of trying to take on his man and hit a shot, he chicken out - twice meekly giving up hte ball.Grow a sack man and you will take it to another flicking level. It so obvious that it inside him to do it.

I am impressed with the US so far.
Argentina will kick it up a notch in te 2nd half...now that they stretch their legs. US will be dangerous on the counter.

NIce how this one shaping up..

yuh hit the nail on the head dey with johnson! too flicking scared man! all them toes and yuh fraid tuh take on an run past defenders! he could pass ah ball back boy!shit!

Good game...very well-taken goals by Argentina. Great finishes by Tevez and Aimar.

The young US side impressed me with their sublime possession at times...real nice one-touch passing without hesitation, but they couldn't make anything of it. Zanetti was too experienced for Mapp and make him he daddy. That Gomez feller who replace Twellman was a waste of time.

Anyway at the end of the day...GO BRASIL

Doh try dat.

them men and them run out ah gas because:

a) this ent the same team men was talking about.  It have man like Marvel Wynne who never get capped before tonite, so yuh cyah hang dat one up in here.

b) they took the game to Argentina and Bradley in my opinion didn't use his subs wisely.  Man like Mapp was bun from all that running.

BACKS And Forwards, Straight and simple. When USA was defending they looked competitive. Had Johnson had the old time gift of when you have speed go to goal , the score line may have been different.
USA only hope was for the counter attack. Sadly their strength of attacking via the wings was lacking today.
Maybe they need Beenhaker at this level. Bradley was outcoach today

One thing I commend the States for is that they played positively.- Not saying they didn't defend in numbers when Arg had the ball- it was obviously necessary...but when they did break the opposing plays down- they were intelligent & positive with the ball.

At 1-1, many teams punching above their weight class (like the States were)..would have totally closed up shop, and try to play out the draw with negative ugly football....and the States were good enough to attempt it and be successful....They didn't though- they played as if they were always in contention for the game, and attempted to keep the ball and play constructively when they had it.....

What people have to remember is that this Argentina team is a f-ing BOMB SQUAD !!! They can beat full strength competitive teams in the same manner as they beat the States B-team last night. For an experimental U.S. team, they have nothing to hang their heads about.....

USA didn't do badly at all.
That side was very inexperienced.
Argentina was just too no-nonsense for them.

Crespo must be get one ball whole game.
Them short men Tevez, Aimar and Messi is real trouble.
I hated how long Riquelme was holding on to the ball though.
When players already in position, leggo de ball!
