WILLO'S A REGGAE BOY
 Wed 21 May 2008
WATFORD'S Lee Williamson has received his first ever call-up from Jamaica for their forthcoming set of international fixtures.

The Derby-born midfielder got the nod after completing his first ever season in the Championship with the Hornets. He qualifies for Jamaica through his father's side of the family.

Williamson has made 33 appearances for the Golden Boys this term - scoring two goals.

The Raggae Boyz have a hectic spell of five games in 16 days next month.

Jamaica's upcoming schedule will see them up against St Vincent and the Grenadines at Jamaica's National Stadium on June 3, followed by Trinidad & Tobago, in Port-of-Spain Trinidad, on June 7 before their departure the following day to Grenada for a game on June 10.

The competitive games come in the shape of a two-legged CONCACAF World Cup qualifying games against the Bahamas on June 15 at the National Stadium, followed by the return leg at Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium.

Williamson joined the Golden Boys in January 2007 as part of a deal which saw him and striker Will Hoskins move to Vicarage Road from Rotherham United.
