The 2014 national futsal trial series, hosted by the Futsal Association of Trinidad and Tobago continues on Saturday at the Mayaro Indoor Sports Arena, Mayaro.

The trials offer players the opportunity to display their ability before a panel of National Futsal Team selectors lead by former head coach and Strike Squad captain, Clayton Morris.

These trials is for the selection of players to the senior men’s national futsal team for qualifications to the 8th FIFA Futsal World Cup 2016 to be held in Columbia.

Additionally, Futsal Association intends to use this national drive to promote the game of Futsal-through competition and public awareness, whilst enhancing the capacity of community building through sustained sports development and participation.

Registration begins promptly at 9 a.m. and each player should possess one (1) valid form of national identification and $25. Additionally, players should have one red and one white T-shirt, black shorts, black football socks, shine guards and indoor shoes.
