Edwards grab winner for Jabloteh

Ed­wards found the back of the net in the 65th minute to hand Jabloteh a fifth win in 17 match­es to move to 19 points, but still eighth on the 11-club ta­ble.

Go­ing in­to last night's three match­es on sched­ule 18-time na­tion­al league cham­pi­ons and three-time Pro League win­ners' De­fence Force led the stand­ings with 41 from 16 match­es, nine more than sec­ond-placed Ter­minix La Hor­quet­ta Rangers and needs to win two of re­main­ing four match­es or hope Rangers slip up in their next to claim their first ti­tle since the 2012/2013 sea­son.

Point Fortin Civic sits third with 25 fol­lowed by six-time win­ners and de­fend­ing cham­pi­ons W Con­nec­tion with 24, the same as Mor­vant Cale­do­nia Unit­ed.

In their re­main­ing match­es, De­fence Force faces Mor­vant Cale­do­nia Unit­ed, Point Fortin Civic and three-time cham­pi­ons Cen­tral FC while La Horquetta Rangers come up against Cen­tral FC, Cunu­pia FC and Point Fortin Civic.
