Top SSFL midfielder Jevaughn Vance now with Jabloteh.Clico San Juan Jabloteh coach, Englishman Terry Fenwick has started the rebuilding of the former Digicel Pro League champions by signing three former St Augustine Secondary School stars.

The three players now attached to the club for the upcoming Digicel Pro League season are Jevaughn Vance, Theon James and Elijah Mejias. The trio helped St Augustine to the BGTT East Zone and National “Big Five” League titles as well as the zonal Coca-Cola Intercol crown.

Speaking on the signing of the players Fenwick, who is making a return to the San Juan club after a year out of contract said, “The players we have signed from the SSFL are very exceptional young talent and we feel that they will be great additions to our club.

“Like we have done in the past Jabloteh once I’m at the helm will continue to look into the SSFL for the future stars of the game. The former England international noted that he was in the process of adding some more top quality youngsters to his squad.

“Our history at Jabloteh has shown that we have done well in developing players like Kerry Baptiste, Josh Johnson and Nigel Daniel and we feel pretty sure that we can compete with the likes of Joe Public, Ma Pau, W Connection and Caledonia for top honours,” added Fenwick.

Asked if the departure of Leston Peltier, Elton John, Devon Jamerson and Joel Russell all to Ma Pau had weakened the club, Fenwick who led Jabloteh to back-to-back league titles in 2007 and 2008 said he did not think so.
