DWIGHT QUINTERO netted a hat-trick as Joe Public thrashed Defence Force 7-0 last Sunday, in the Under-17 Division, as action took place on Round One Match Day Five of the Oasis Youth Pro League.
Quintero was on target in the 33rd, 37th and 45th minutes as Joe Public netted their fifth successive victory in the age group.
Tevin Figaro (eighth), Marcus Gomez (15th), Nicholas Marcano (35th), Leon Gill (81st) scored one apiece for the group leaders.
San Juan Jabloteh got a goal in injury time as the eked out a 3-2 victory over St Ann’s Rangers.
Kiel Pierre gave Rangers a 15th minute lead, only for Aaquil Campbell to even the scores three minutes later.
Akori David put Jabloteh ahead in the 49th but Arvin Prescod equalised in the 56th.
The game seemed destined for a draw before Alvin Jones notched the winner in the second minute of injury time.
Second-placed W Connection earned a 1-0 win over North East Stars, courtesy an item from Kareem Garcia in the 73rd, while Andell Andrews’ 77th minute strike was enough to guarantee Caledonia AIA a 1-0 triumph over Ma Pau.
And TTEC were also 1-0 winners, this time over Police, with Akeel Julien’s 50th minute strike proving decisive.
