Over forty of the best teams from every point in Trinidad and Tobago will come together for the finale of the Republic Bank Right Start Cup Youth Football Tournament, which takes place on Sunday 9th August 2009 at the Casuals Corner, Queen’s Park Savannah. After seven preliminary rounds, the top ten teams from each age group were qualified to play in the finals.

This was announced by president of the EHFL, Eddie Hart when he addressed clubs on Thursday night at the Bally Street Community Centre in Tacarigua on the 2009 season. According to Hart, he and the Chief Defence of Staff Brigadier Edmund Dillon, a past player in the EHFL, will complete the party that will be taking the salute at the EHS this afternoon.

THE 43rd edition of the popular Eddie Hart League opens on Sunday at the Eddie Hart Grounds, Tacarigua at 2 pm with a parade of teams. Eighty teams have registered to participate in the league which consists of six divisions — Under-13, Under-15, Under-19, Under-21, Premier and women’s.
