Ronald Hamilton netted a pair of goals as Alutrin La Brea All Stars outgunned Penal Rock Road 5-3 in a re-scheduled Southern Football Association Petrotrin Super League match at Penal Recreation Ground on Monday. Zia Williams, Phylvaughn and Maurice Boodoo added one each in the win for All Stars, while Keston Rivero, Nigel Williams and Tyrone La Fortune got Rock Road replies. With the victory, All Stars pushed its point tally to 37 from 18 matches, five behind leaders Siparia Spurs (42) while Rock Road stayed second with 39 points and a match in hand.

Maple closes gap on FC1
Maple closed the gap on Northern Football Association Premier Division Group A leaders, FC1 after a 2-1 triumph in their top of the table clash at the Queen’s Park Savannah on the weekend. Curtis Smith and Omari Williams were both on target for Maple while Leon Cox netted for FC 1 in the loss. With the win, Maple improved to 30 points from 14 matches, three behind FC1 which has played a match more.
