THERE will be over $7,000 at stake when the Tyro Sports Club launch their 40-and-over Seven-a-Side hockey-size goalpost night football league.
And matches will be played under the new lighting system recently installed at the ground.
Winners of the series will collect $3,000 along with a challenge trophy and replica with the runners-up getting $1,500 and trophy, third $1,000 and fourth $500.
Action in the new series is scheduled to begin on October 16, but deadline for full registration is fixed for October 9.
Clubs will have to pay a registration fee of $500 for 200 players. Most disciplined team in the series will be rewarded with $200, while the best uniformed team gets a trop[hy and the scorer of most goals will receive one football.
