M&M HARVARD are the new holders of the UWI Employees Super Football League knockout title.

They clinched the title in Sunday’s final 5-4 on penalties after playing out a 3-3 draw with Joe Public.

Jabari Samuels opened the scoring in the 19th minute with the first of his double strikes, but Avery Cabralis got the equaliser for the Eastern Lions in the 41st for a 1-1 half-time scoreline.

Christon Freitas restored Harvard’s lead in the 48th and Samuels increased the advantage in the 48th.

But Kareem Edwards pulled one back for Joe Public in the 54th and Kevon Cornwall grabbed a 66th minute equaliser.

Presentation of awards won in the league this season will be made on Saturday at the UWI Staff Social Club, starting 8 pm.
