Joe Public regained their form to rip leaders Carib FC 3-1 in their second round Premiership Division Emerald Apartments and Plaza- sponsored Eastern Football Association match for the Arthur “Jap” Brown Memorial Trophy.

In the high-charged weekend clash, it was the Brewery Boys who scored first when Kefim Blackford netted in the 18th minute.

But the Eastern Lions were level again in the 31st minute when Michael Hospedales scored.

Jovan Rockford got the go-ahead goal in the 78th minute and Noel Charles rounded off the scoring in the 81st.

Despite their defeat, however, Carib remain atop the standings with 47 points three more than second placed Real Maracas and four ahead of Joe Public.

Real Maracas shut out WASA 2-0 on a 51st minute goal by Bryan Hinds and a second from Jason Hernandez in the 72nd.

In other Premiership action, Coast Guard whipped Prisons 2-0 on a Wendell Isaac double in the 55th and 83rd minutes.

Barataria Ball Players scored an emphatic 3-0 upset victory over Malabar Superstars in First Division action.

After a goalless first half, Ellon Hunte scored in the 49th minute and Wendell Hunte added a second in the 52nd before Daniel Prentice got the third in the 87th.
