OVER $20,000 will be on offer when the DM Sports Club launch their 12th annual Invitational Football League.
The launch of the new season is scheduled for tomorrow at the Ramsingh’s Sports ground, Deonarine Junction, McBean, Couva, from 10 am.
Opening of the league will take the form of a 10-team all-day tournament and family day with entertainment from Ziggy Rankin.
According to league president Mukesh Ramsingh, approximately 20 teams involving over 45 youngsters will participate in the tournament.
The 13-year-old club of 60-plus members received sponsorship from Ramsingh’s Sports World/Pro Sports, Ramsingh’s Engertainment Centre DVD and the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.
