The Canaan/Bon Accord Community Football League hosted by Angostura 1976 Phoenix got off to an exciting start with a double-header at the Canaan/Bon Accord recreation ground, last Saturday.

The League that has attracted eight teams opened with competitive games minus the formalities.

In the first game, spectators were treated to a goal feast as Crown Point put an early dent in the defending champions, Milford Court campaign, while Gunners scored an exciting 3-2 victory over Yorke Pride.

In the Crown Point/Milford Court game, Crown Point twice came from behind to level the score before sealing the issue with two late goals after the score was tied at 3-3.
