Out-of-favour Soca Warriors senior and youth team striker Jamal Gay was on target as Dream Team sent last year’s winner, M&M Harvard packing 2-1 when the UWI Employees Super Football League knockout competition began on the weekend.

In addition to Gay, who enjoyed a professional stint in the German Second Division, Andre Nurse was also on target to cancel out Dorian Rollow’s effort for Harvard.

Harvard had a chance to redeem itself when it faced Semi Pro in a Premier Division League semifinal at Tacarigua yesterday while reigning champions, K-Brands tackle El Do Milan, from 4.30 pm at Constantine Park, Tunapuna today.

Harvard advanced to the semifinal after topping its round-robin Group Two six-teams competition with 13 points from four wins and a drawn result, while Milan was second with ten points, one ahead of Friendship. K Brands qualified as Group One winners, with 12 points, three ahead of Semi Pro.
