QIAN GROVESNOR netted two goals in three minutes as Westside Superstarzs FC blanked 1976 FC Phoenix 3-0 on Wednesday, in a rescheduled Blink/bmobile National Super League Match Day One fixture at the St Anthony’s Ground, Westmoorings.

After Akim Ash opened the scoring on the hour-mark, Grovesnor, the former Trinidad and Tobago Under-20 striker, got his pair in the 68th and 70th minutes.

And, in another rescheduled game, at the Plymouth Recreation Ground, Stokely Vale FC edged Defence Force 2-1.

Domminic McDougal broke the deadlock in the 61st while Krishawn Joseph doubled the lead in the 68th.

Former national defender Michael Edwards, who played a handful of matches under Francisco Maturana in 2008, pulled one back for Defence Force in the 88th.
