WASA FC strolled past Stokely Vale 6-1 on Wednesday, in a rescheduled National Super League contest, at the WASA Ground, St Joseph.

Former national midfielder Gary Glasgow opened the scoring after 28 minutes while Kareem Freitas doubled the lead in the 33rd. 

Dominic McDougall reduced the deficit for Stokely Vale in the 41st but Keron Clarke restored WASA’s two-goal lead in the 53rd. 

The hosts went further ahead through evergreen striker Stern John in the 57th and got other strikes from an own goal (72nd) and Lashawn Robert (73rd). 

In another rescheduled fixture, on Thursday, Defence Force trounced Petrotrin Palo Seco 4-0 at the Palo Seco Velodrome. 

Finding the back of the net for Defence Force were Christopher Durity (14th), Jevon Neptune (60th), Garfield Morris (83rd) and Khalid Critchlow (89th).
