Clint de VerteuilCentral stopper for T&TEC, Mr. Clint de Verteuil, won player of the month for July in the bmobile National Super League as he was voted Most Valuable Player on three occasions and has greatly contributed to T&TEC’s rise in the league to second place after the end of the first round.

Clint hails all the way from Siparia and started off his career in football as a youth player for the Alvin Corneal Coaching School and was selected to play in an Under 13 minor league tournament in Miami. His Alma Mater was Naparima Boys College and was proudly the captain of the captain of the team for the Secondary School Football league. In 1998 he was selected for the National Under 20 team and has gone onto play with T&TEC thereafter. Mr. Lester Lall, Manager of team T&TEC refers to Clint as the ‘stalwart of defense and also a role model when it comes to discipline and punctuality with team.”

T&TEC is carded to play in a big double header clash in the Super League Knock Out Semi Finals against QPCC on Friday 21st August at the Queen’s Park Oval.
