Shevon Frederick scored the only goal of the match which gave Club Sando a 1–0 win over Real Maracas  in the Blink/bmobile National Super Football League at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella on Monday.

Frederick’s 78th minute goal was enough to see the home side get to the top of the ten team table. Club Sando now sit on 19 points, two ahead of Stokely Vale, which are on 17 with a match in hand up to today’s fixtures.

Stokely Vale will be looking to retake the lead when they travel to the Hasely Crawford Stadium training field to take on bottom club St Francois Nationals at 4 pm.

Two other matches will also be played at 4 pm. Eagles United travels to Tobago to challenge 1976 FC Phoenix at Canaan, Bon Accord, while WASA FC challenges West Side Super Starzs at WASA Ground, St Joseph.

Defence Force were originally carded to take on bmobile Joe Public today but the fixture was subsequently rescheduled to facilitate the “armymen’s” duties during the ongoing limited state of emergency.

CLUB SANDO moved from fourth place to first in the Blink Bmobile National Super League standings after a narrow 1-0 win over Real Maracas at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella on Monday.

Shevon Frederick netted the game-clincher for Sando, in the 78th minute, as Sando overtook Stokely Vale, WASA and Joe Public for the top spot.

Stokely Vale, who started the round atop the standings, were held to a 2-2 draw by St Francois Nationals at the Hasely Crawford Stadium’s Training Field, Mucurapo on Wednesday.

Also on Wednesday, West Side Super Starz edged WASA 1-0 at the WASA Ground, St Joseph, with Kareem Freitas getting the lone item in the 43rd, while at Canaan, Bon Accord, 1976 FC Phoenix battled to a 1-1 draw against the visiting Eagles United.

Jamal Lucas put Eagles in front after 37 minutes but Dominique Kerr equalised in the 67th.

The meeting between Defence Force and Joe Public was postponed to a date to be announced.
