Krishorn Alexander got the decisive goal as Police FC came from behind to edge Central FC 2-1 to go top of the Malta Carib 2015 Youth Pro League at the St James Police Barracks Training Ground, Long Circular Road, St James on Saturday.

The visiting Central FC, which entered the match unbeaten in three matches, took the lead in the 30th minute through former national Under-17 player Raheem Borde, however ten minutes later Jahreed Murray got Police level, before the left footed Alexander fired in the winner, seven minutes into the second-half.

Police now lead the ten-team table with nine points from four matches, one ahead of the chasing trio of

DirecTV W Connection, Japs North East Stars and Caledonia AIA, while Pt Fortin Civic is a further point back followed by Play Whe San Juan Jabloteh with six.

At Trinity College Ground, Moka, Maraval, W Connection paced by two goals each from Jeron Pantor and Ajani Mc Intyre trounced host St Ann’s Rangers 5-0; Isiah Lee also netted a double for Stars in a 4-1 whipping of slumping Jabloteh at Ojoe Road Recreation Ground, Sangre Grande on Sunday while Rahim Gordon’s 47th goal proved the winner for Caledonia, 2-1 over Defence Force at Valtrin Recreation Ground, Valsayn.

However, there was no change at top the Under-13 and Under-15 Divisions as Jabloteh continued to set the pace with their fourth win from as many matches in each category.

In the Under-13 age-group, Deshawn Strong got a pair of second-half goals to lead Jabloteh to a 6-0 hammering of Stars with Kaihim Thomas, Terrel Wiley, Jaheim Marshall, and Daniel David adding the others to move to maximum 12 points, and ahead of Caledonia on goal-difference after it blanked Defence Force 3-0 with Tirrel Ramshai, Isaiah Villaroel and Joshua Ragbir all on target at Valsayn.

And in the Under-15 Division, Tyrese Bailey was the toast of his Jabloteh team-mates after scoring in the 63rd minute for an entertaining 3-2 win over Stars.

Keseab St Rose had fired Jabloteh into a seventh minute lead, but Stars hit back with items from Keyon Boney and Darnell Charles, in the 27th and 30th minute respectively to lead 2-1 at the half.

But in the second-period, Jabloteh turned on the heat, with St Rose getting his team level in the 53rd before Bailey’s winner, ten minutes later to carry his club to 12 points, four clear of W Connection, and Club Sando.

W Connection outlasted Rangers 5-4 thanks to Jarelle Steadman’s 77th minute decider, his second of the match, and Club Sando battled to a 0-0 draw with Pt Fortin Civic.
