Kyle Thomas netted a goal in each half to lead Play Whe San Jabloteh to a convincing 5-1 thrashing of Defence Force and with it the Malta Carib Youth Pro League Under-15 Division title on Sunday last.

Jabloteh, which captured the Under-13 Division a week earlier, needed only one win from its remaining two Udner-15 matches to add another title to its coffers and by the half-time whistle it was well on its way, ahead 3-0 with Thomas (22nd), Jodel Brown (23rd) and Kesean St Rose (27th) all scoring.

Thomas and Andre Raymond then scored with seconds of each other in the 64th minute to widen the lead to 5-0 before Afiba Mc Leod got a 72nd minute consolation for Defence Force at Trinity College East Ground, Trincity.

With the win, Jabloteh improved to an unattainable 42 points from 17 matches, six more than North East Stars, which tried its best to extend the title race to Sunday's final round by hammering St Ann's Rangers 11-0 at Ojoe Road Recreation Ground, Sangre Grande.

National Youth team forward John-Paul Rochford helped himself to six goals for Stars in the ninth, 15th, 16th, 26th, 37th and 53rd minutes while Devon Charles added two, in the 24th and 69th.

The trio of Darnell Charles (35th), Daren Alcantara (52nd penalty) and Jeromi Joseph (62nd) also scored for Stars, but with a six-points gap between them and Jabloteh and one match left to go, the title battle is over.

However, Stars (38 points) can make amends in the Under-17 Division as it enjoys a healthy lead on goal-difference from Jabloteh (38) while DirecTV W Connection is third with 37 points heading into the final round of matches.

This after Stars bombarded St Ann's Rangers 7-0 led by an Isiah Lee hat-trick in the 25th, 46th, 62nd minutes while Jabloteh outplayed Defence Force 5-2 W Connection led by a Dereem Daniel beaver trick (23rd, 38th, 66th, 77th) and W Connection slipped past Caledonia AIA, 2-1 thanks to a Jarod Gordon 70th minute winner.

In the final round of matches, Stars will be at home to seventh placed Caledonia while Jabloteh welcomes W Connection to San Juan.
