FC SANTA Rosa yesterday secured third place in the Under-13 division of the National Youth Football League when they defeated St Clair Coaching School 4-1 in a third/fourth place play-off at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Tunapuna.

Today the Easterners will go after the winner’s cash prize and trophies in the Under-15 and 17 divisions at the same venue.

The Keith Look-Loy trained team have a date with Moruga FC in the final of the Under-15s at 2pm and two hours later they will clash with the in-form Club Sando at 4pm in the Under-17s.

In the opening game of the day at 10am the Tunapuna Titans will meet Cap Off Youths at the same venue.

Yesterday Santa Rosa got a double strike from Isaiah Lee in the 52nd and 57th minute while the other two goals came from John Paul Rochard in the 5th minute and Tyrese Sampson in the 24th. The lone item for the Tobago team came from Akiel Holford in the 51st minute.

Meanwhile Stokely Vale FC got a hat-trick from Devon Stewart to complete a 3-0 thrashing of Club Sando in the third and fourth play-off of the Under-15. Goals came in the 29th, 64th and 65th minutes for Stewart. In the Under-17 division third and fourth place play-offs it was another Tobago team, 1976 Phoenix, that claimed third.

They were awarded three goals and as many points for a default win, as opponents Joe Public failed to show.
