Defending national primary school champions Bon Accord Government will face arch-rivals Whim Anglican as quarter-final action in the Tobago zone of the Atlantic LNG Primary Schools League gets underway on Monday.

The teams meet from 1 p.m. in the second match of the day taking place at the Shaw Park Recreational Ground, Scarborough. Bon Accord were dominant team in 2012, taking the Tobago and national titles when beating Whim in both finals. However, the school of former national football captain Dwight Yorke has not been in top form in 2013, surrendering the Goderick Alfred Knockout Cup 4-0 to Whim in September.

Bon Accord also finished runners up in the Leeward B district of the 2013 Tobago League, behind table toppers Montgomery Government, who beat them 3-0 last week.

Monday’s first quarter-final at Shaw Park takes place at 11 a.m., with Montgomery facing Northside runners up Mason Hall Government. The two other two quarter-finals take place at Goodwood, where Windward district winners Charlotteville Methodist face Leeward A second-placed team Hope Anglican at 11am.

Leeward A winners St Andrews Anglican will then battle Windward district runner-up Speyside Anglican at 1 p.m. The semi-finals are set for Wednesday.
